Red Cross Oklahoma Disaster Relief Fund

This June we hosted the Marketing & Wholesaling Bootcamp in Dallas, Texas. At each of our bootcamps we host a fundraiser to support the efforts of a chosen charity and this bootcamp was no exception. This time we held a fundraiser for the Oklahoma Disaster Relief Fund. Oklahoma families were devastated only weeks earlier by numerous Tornadoes and we felt it was crucial that we raise funds for the victims. We partnered with the Red Cross to fundraise for the Oklahoma Disaster Relief Fund.

At the Bootcamp we also unveiled our new FortuneBuilders Gives booth; an area dedicated to our philanthropic efforts. The booth was a huge success introducing students to our passion for giving back and working with amazing philanthropic organizations. The booth helped bring more attention to our fundraiser for the Red Cross and Oklahoma Relief. Students were able to donate cash, checks or online right at the booth. Additionally, we had an apparel store where students could donate money and receive a T-shirt.

We started the weekend with a $5,000 goal and not only did we beat the goal we passed it on the second day! In total we raised over $5,700 for the Relief fund!

Salvation Army – Dollars, Change and Prayers

For over a month, the 3-day event teams have hosted fundraisers at each of their events across the country for the Salvation Army – Dollars, Change and Prayers. All proceeds from the fundraisers have been donated to the Oklahoma recovery efforts as well. The event teams have raised over $5,000 from their fundraisers as well!
