The 5K Course


The challenging and unique course will begin at Carmel Del Mar Elementary School and will head south on Carmel Creek Road to the bike trail, heading east parallel to HWY 56. From there the course will take you out and back along a beautiful tree lined path with a mix of paved and trail running, splashed with some rolling hills. Runners will return to Carmel Creek Road, and then head back to the finish line at Carmel Del Mar Elementary School.

The Kid’s Fun Run (Grades K through 6)


The Kid’s Fun Run will be a non-competitive one-mile course on Carmel Del Mar Elementary School grounds. This a great way to involve your children in a healthy lifestyle and benefit the DMSEF at the same time. The Kid’s run is for the Kid’s only. Mom and Dad get to cheer them on!!

Start Times

• 5K Check-In: 6:30am
  5K Race: 7:30am
• Kid’s Race Check in: 8:00am
  Kids’ Race: 9:00am

Fees


Fees are non-refundable.

• 5K: Ages 15 and up $40 before November 1st and $56 thereafter
• 5K: Ages 6 to 14 $30 before November 1st and $46 thereafter
• Kid’s Fun Run (Grades K through 6) $15 before November 1st and $25 thereafter

Entry includes:

• Official Race Number
• T-shirt
• Finisher’s Medal
• Goodie Bag

5K Age Group Awards

Age group awards will be awarded as follows for the 5K:

• 6-10 Male & Female
• 11-14 Male & Female
• 15-18 Male & Female
• 19-29 Male & Female
• 30-40 Male & Female
• 41-51 Male & Female
• 52+ Male & Female

T-shirts and Goodie Bags

T-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at the pre-race registration event until supplies run out. Every effort will be made to make sure you get the size shirt you specify during the registration process, but no guarantees are made.

Fees/Bibs

• Fees are non-refundable. Bibs are nontransferable.

Packet Pick Up

• There will be NO Race Day Packet Pick Up!
• Packet Pick Up will be on Thursday the 6th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Torrey Hills Shopping Center. (in front of BBQ Republic)
